We are in immediate need for a Customer Service Specialist with the primary responsibilities of providing complete assistance and high quality service to both internal and external customers. The Specialist will also maintain interactions primarily utilizing the phone and other forms of electronic communication with our new existing customers.

Skills must include:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Customer Service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Problem solving, quick thinking and intricate order entry
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Desire to learn and understand products in our protective footwear industry
  • Must be able to work independently and utilize time management skills
  • Handle multiple emails and phone calls daily (50-150 emails per day)
  • Enter customer orders daily (35-50 orders per day)
  • Call new and existing customers with product ideas
  • Familiar with Protective Footwear is a plus

Responsibilites:

  • Enter customer orders
  • Help research and provide solutions and/or technical support to customers
  • Create and maintain back order reports
  • Work within the ERP system to obtain shipping dates for customer orders
  • Handle all aspects of returns, damages and replacement issues
  • Communicate effectively with customers and other departments
  • Maintain excellent relation with our customers

Experience:

  • Customer Service: minimum of 3 years
  • Associate's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $37,000 to $47,000 annually
