We manufacture boots in our three production locations in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Raalte, Netherlands, and Leria, Portugal. We are in immediate need for a Director of Sales (Retail Channel) who is energetic, growth minded, has good knowledge of the Retail Channel and a change agent to help our rapidly growing USA business unit take over the Protective Footwear marketplace. The candidate should have a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in Senior level Sales who is seeking to contribute to a growing company.

The ideal candidate will direct and manage our Retail Channel Sales.

Essential Functions

  • Drive sales in the Retail Channel
  • Work closely together with Sales Agencies and Distributors to drive growth
  • Partner with other collegues in sales and become a winning team
  • Work closely with Marketing and other departments of the company in order to develop and maintain an effective market presence
  • Establish sales agreements and policies consistent with desired company positioning and business philosophy
  • Develop and continuously pursue lead generation and growth and maintain the sales pipeline
  • Determine strategic offerings to major prospects and customers
  • Improve product offerings to customers to enhance added value and improve the value proposition
  • Proven track record in growing a business profitable with new products/segments
  • Minimum of  5 years' experience in selling non-food products directly to end-users with support of an existing distribution network
  • Preferably a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) business environment experience
  • Proven current relationship in PPE Channel
  • Successful consultative selling experience in a complex sales environment (B2B)
  • Ability to translate business initiatives to bottom-line results
  • Sound financial understanding and able to (monthly) monitor the progress on all relevant KPI's
  • A strong track record of developing and effectively implementing sales strategies, business plans, forecasts and budgets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, a builder
  • A motivational style that inspires others to achieve aggressive targets
  • Willing and able to travel extensively within the USA

Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Business Admnistation (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree plus 7 years' experience in Sales required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 annually
