Dunlop helps the sea lions
The staff at the sea lion crèche Lenie't Hart in Pieterburen in The Netherlands have had one thing less to worry about recently. Dunlop Protective Footwear have donated 30 pairs of wellington boots and 5 pairs of waders to the sea lion crèche.
Due to a lungworm problem, the sea lion crèche has been inundated and currently has a lot of sea lions in residence. Many volunteers are busy helping with the care of these sea lions, working outside everyday in very cold and wet conditions to ensure they get the best care possible. Our waterproof wellington boots have been a welcome edition to the team! Our boots are exceptionally supple and hardwearing and enable the staff and volunteers to work comfortably.
Dunlop is delighted to be able to help the sea lion crèche Lenie't Hart. The crèche carries out a great deal of important work in sea lion conservation and maintenance, including keeping the sea lion population in the Wadden area at a correct level. This work is essential for generations of sea lions to come and we thank the staff and volunteers for their on going work.
